BrisBricks Chandler 2018® LEGO Fan Expo was one of the biggest ever held in the Chandler Arena. Thousands made their way to the show to see a massive range of over 60 creatively awesome displays. The Batcave, Hogwarts School of Magic, Beauty and the Beast display, as well as Alice in Wonderland’s Mad Hatter’s House were among the favourites at the show.

Oz Comic-Con is a 2 day event where fans celebrate everything comics, film/tv, cosplay, gaming and more. BrisBricks had a great presence this year, showing of a huge Jurassic Park display and many hugely popular Harry Potter, Star Wars and Super Hero based sets.
We are so proud of being able to donate $16,000 in cash and more than $1000 worth of LEGO® to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation for their wonderful work based at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.
The Mindstorms workshop was jam packed with interactive learning about the various sensors, motors and control aspects of of the Mindstorms EV3 robotics kit. By the end of the night, the young Padawan robotic engineers had programmed a robot that roamed around avoiding running into walls or falling off tables, talked and had a motorised grabbing claw.
Who had a good time at the 2018 Redcliffe KiteFest you might ask? Well the answer is simple. The 11th Doctor and his LEGO® Tardis had a ball, and so too did BrisBricks.
