Brisbricks modern history – we came from Brisbane Model Train Group, which from 10 members in around 2010 had grown to 40 or so in 2012 and it was felt that it was big enough to try doing its own event. Part of that led to the discussion of incorporation too, as it makes it a lot easier to get venues and safer for committee members. So we became incorporated and changed the name to Brisbricks and held our first Expo at Mt Gravatt showgrounds in 2012
