Themes
Unless stated, there are no themes, just let your imagination run wild.
Sets, MODs or MOCs?
Preference is for MOCs, but MODs or interesting sets are always welcome. We don’t want to display what you can buy in the shops right now unless it’s really interesting or you’ve done something to make it stand out.
Standard Sizes
All libraries (aside from Loganholme which is one baseplate deep and no real limit on width) use glass cabinets with a 40x50x30 (approximate) width/depth/height.
Remember, we’re displaying for an audience that can take their time and enjoy the detail. It’s also a PG audience.
Consider your audience’s height. What can a child see easily compared to an adult?
Where possible, displays will be placed according to the height of the viewer:
Top shelf – adults
2nd shelf – teens
3rd shelf – little kids
Carindale Library

Although the shelf heights aren’t allowed to be changed, sometimes jewellers get in there and ‘adjust’. Technically the shelves should all be 30cm, but aim for 25 maximum and you should be ok.
As Cabinet 3 has no top shelf, it makes it the perfect place for a large BrisBricks poster

The Library is on the north side of the shopping centre, below the Glass House food court, JB-HiFi, & Good Life Gym.
Can be accessed from the street, but even though it is on the ground floor, is classified Lower Ground.
Best parking is in the underground car park accessed via the Bedivere Street / Millennium Boulevard roundabout. On entry into the car park the Library is to your left and can be accessed directly.

Inala have asked for us to display in March, April, June, July, October and December. We will only provide confirmation for those months we know we can supply displays with good advance notice. If you are interested, please let us know ASAP.
