In early February the train enthusiast from BrisBricks got together to brainstorm the theme of its annual collaborative train display.

It has been a long standing tradition in BrisBricks to build a new display every year, and while a lot of work goes into that, it also means those attending our events get something new to see every year.
Previous years we’ve had themes like “travel through time”, “around the world”, and last year’s popular “at the movies” theme. Without spoiling too much, we can revealed we this time have selected something more local.

Built upon approximately 300 LEGO baseplates, the display is one of the largest in Australia and obviously takes many, many hours to complete. This year a record number of 16 members collaborate putting this together.
We are looking forward to show it to you all in May at Brisbane Model Train Show and our own Expos later on the year.
